As I walk through the streets in my neighbourhood, or walk the paths and bi-ways around the cottage, my eyes spot expansive scenes of landscapes or skies, tiny displays of colour and oddities, vignettes of the normal and the unusual, all displayed here for pondering, reflection or amusement.
Yukon landscape
On August 21, 2022, five intrepid travelers flew to Whitehorse, Yukon Territories to begin a 10 adventure to the North. We drove up the Dempster Highway past the Arctic Circle to the North West Territory boundary then back down to the border of British Columbia. The scenery was stunning. Here are 10 photos of that rugged, breathtaking landscape.
Skylines
One of the many features of our cottage/lakehouse is it’s western view. We are drenched in sunshine all afternoon and watch it set over the treed horizon each night. With the alchemist combination of cloud and light rays, the sky paints a different backdrop every night.
